Paula  Caasi - Front Office Coordinator

I have been with Crystal Dental for a couple of years now, but Crystal Dental has been my family's dental office for a very long time. Currently, I am going to school at UC Berkeley and hoping to finish my degree in Biopsychology. 

I was born in the Philippines, but I was raised here in the Bay Area. I am generally active and I love sports, so you will constantly find me going for a run or playing pick up at a basketball court. I cherish my time with family and friends. They are my foundation and solace, and I am very appreciative of how much they care and support each other. I also adore and love dogs, and I am constantly with my little princess. ​

I am person that is always willing to try and learn new things. Hopefully, overtime, my experiences can help me become a better version of myself.

Esmeralda Contreras - Dental Assistant

I attended Carrington College and have been a Dental Assistant for about 4 years now.  I am fluent in Spanish, both reading and writing.  Huge Disney fan and I love iced coffee!  I like to spend my free time hanging out with my family and friends.  My favorite seasons are Fall and Spring.  I love Sunflowers and Tulip flowers.  My biggest pet peeve is messiness, I like to be organized and put away objects in their correct place.

Katie gip - Dental Hygienist

Katie was introduced to the dental field as a dental assistant while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from San Jose State University (SJSU) in 2012. Little did she know that being a dental assistant was the stepping stone for her to further her career in the dental field. That said, after obtaining her undergrad degree from SJSU, Katie returned to school at Foothill College to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2021. As a dental hygienist, Katie wants to improve the patient’s oral health through providing high-quality dental care, educating the patient about his/her oral health status, tailoring the necessary treatments, and recommending appropriate dental products to meet each 
individual's needs. Katie strongly believes in building trust and rapport with patients to motivate them to improve their oral hygiene home care. In her spare time, Katie enjoys watching Netflix shows, playing with her dog Murphy, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Katie speaks English, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
